Biography

Pagoda frontman Michael Pitt recorded a cover of Jimi Hendrix's, "Hey Joe" for The Dreamers soundtrack that can be heard in the film and Bernardo Bertolucci directed a video for it that can be found on The Dreamers DVD. In 2005, Pagoda recorded their first EP. which was given out for free at live shows by Michael's agent. Their songs "Fetus" and "Death To Birth" appeared on the soundtrack for "Last Days", a film based loosely on the final days of Nirvana front man Kurt Cobain. Michael Pitt played the Cobain clone "Blake" in the film and also contributed two solo tracks to the soundtrack. Pagoda has a song in JT LeRoy's film version of "The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things" called "Muskrat". They are currently wrapping up their debut album entitled "House of Worship."
