The beginnings of Through Broken Glass come from the meeting of 2 individuals. Pete Sosa, and Derrick Broze. In May of 2002 they began playing in a band together. They played for 2 years until April 2004 when that band ended. After the demise of that act, they began looking for a new guitarist, and bassist to help them go into the hardcore direction they desired. After the usual lineup changes, they found Mark Garcia. He was just what they were looking for and they immediately began writing songs and looking for a bass player. They played their first show together on July 4, 2004. They continued playing shows without a bass player, until August 2004 when they found Steve Suto to fill in on bass, and Through Broken Glass was born. With plans to write more songs, continue playing shows and release their first full length album in the fall of 2004, they are keeping very busy. Look for them to began touring nationally in the summer of 2005.
