Aw Shux began in late 1997 as Shane Smith (Guitar and Vocals), Keith Cutter (Guitar), Paul Cutter (Bass), and Zack Cofsky (Drums) in Big Bear, California. After opening for such acts as Falling Sickness, Limp, and Rubberneck at such venues as the Roxy Theater (Hollywood, CA) and the Showcase Theater (Corona, CA) the band signed with Bauer Booking Agency. In 1998 Aw Shux Independently released their first CD titled "What Do You See". In early 1999 Shane Smith left Aw Shux due to "musical differences" and Keith Cutter took over the leading role as the singer. Shortly after Shane's departure from the band Ryan Romero was added to the line up as a Guitarist. In late 1999 Aw Shux took break and decided to leave Bauer Booking and get back to their roots. In early 2002 the band reformed but was called Trend Three and consisted of Keith Cutter (Guitar and Vocals), Paul Cutter (Bass), and Chris Warr (Drums) and had relocated to Highland Home Alabama. In 2003 Trend Three went into FX studios in Montgomery Alabama to record "Still The Same" for A.S. Recordings and went on to be heard on such radio stations as 95.1 the Fox (Montgomery, Alabama) and 104.9 the Tiger (Auburn, Alabama). In 2004 Trend Three signed an Independent deal with Sonic Wave International for the release of one album (which is in the process of being finished right now) and due to personal reasons Zack Cofsky is now back in the line up as Trend Three's drummer. The name Trend Three has now been dropped due to the fact that the name Aw Shux means something to all the parties in the band and the name Trend Three really doesn't. Seven years later, and somehow ending up on the other side of the country, the band is still going strong and is back to three of the original members.
