Biography:
It all started in the summer of 2003, when guitar player and singer, Jokke Ponette, drummer, Domien Huyghe and bassist, Jan bogaert, founded Avoid. they rehearsed a lot and they had a few shows.
After their gig at Rock Loere, Avoid decided to take a short break to work out some disagreements between the band members. Two months later, in November 2004, the band came back together with new ideas and more willingness than ever before.
The arrival of the new guitar player Nick David helped setting the dark mood for the new Avoid tone. Faster riffs, heavier songs, screaming death vocals and satanic lyrics, Avoid has changed to trash with death - and black metal influence.
