Biography:
Worth The Pain was founded in 2001 and ever since their first shows in 2002 they've been one of the most respected and hard-working bands to come from Lappeenranta, Finland.

As the music has developed greatly since the early days, the initial idea of being a metallic hardcore band has remained the same. By following their own intuition rather than trends, the band has managed to create a familiar yet distinguishable sound that has made them stand out from the rest and earned them recognition all over Finland.

After the years of hard work, countless shows, DIY releases and a few line-up changes, they have finally finished their first full-length album. The end, no matter how bitter it may be, is definitely not yet to be seen.

Releases so far: To The Bitter End CD/LP (Full House Records/Fast Rock Factory/Turn & Run Records 2008), Sacrifices MCD (2005) & a split 7" with Rejected (2003).

Worth The Pain Worth The Pain - 'Sacrifices'
My main beef with this album is the vocals. Maybe it was just the way it was recorded, but this guy sounds like he was eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches while he was singing for this album. ...[more]

I've definitely heard worse ... Broken Faith is definitely the better of both songs though. Down the Drain just seems to not really progress at all. Pretty generic. I'm sure the band translates and sounds better live and I would dance to it.

I like it, I want to hear your attempt at making a band if you think it's 'generic'
