Biography:
Divine Dissonance is an amalgamation of 5 contrasting individuals all with a paralleled taste for brutal, harmonious music. Always trying to surpass themselves and improve upon each of their own unique styles, these 5 metalheads coalesce forming a relentless beast harboring far more emotion than most with their fierce technical breakdowns, melodious fretboard wizardry, idiosyncratic drumwork, and an onslaught of menacing vocals. Formed in 2003 by drummer Eric McAdams and guitarist Mark Salmon under the name Behind The Nine, they quickly recruited second guitarist Chris Ashmore. Despite playing quite a number of shows and recording a lot of demos, which they generously gave to whoever desired one, they still lacked two important pieces of the metal puzzle. During the summer of 2005 long time friend Maurice Dunlap decided to give microphone abusing a shot and the abuse hasn't stopped since. Half a year later everything seemed to be running smoothly with the last member, Matt Ettien, taking on bass duties and completing the metal mayhem known as Divine Dissonance...
