Biography:
Never Be Saved is a band formed in 2002 that plays emotional indie-rock in the vein of such bands as Cursive, Desaparecidos, Hot Water Music, and the Alkaline Trio. It blends a refreshing mixture of influence and originality to create a unique sound. The band has shared the stage with the likes of Before I Hang, Sarcasm, Don't Smack Sally, Conflict Resolution, The Spontaneous Assassination, Pipe, and Last Notice, all popular local bands in the Jersey and PA area. The band's demo CD was recorded in the summer of 2003 with Abe Allen at Protect Your Home Studios. The demo contains 6 songs and features the 8th most downloaded song in Scranton for alternative rock: "Things You Should Know About Me". This demo CD is on rotation at WUSR Scranton 99.5.
