Biography:
"We came up with the term 'dumbfist' to describe what we're doing," says Mojo Filter singer/guitarist Chris Booth about his band's sound. "You know, big, dumb powerchords, heavy metal guitars, slammin' drums, screaming melodies. It's our version of rock n roll." With fierce riffs, aggressive melodies, and in-your-face lyrics, this isn't music you're gonna be hearing on TRL anytime soon-and that's the point. Mojo Filter's 'dumbfist' style has helped establish them as one of the heaviest bands in the Pittsburgh area, and countless local shows and frequent national touring over the past few years have steadily built Mojo's fan base.
