From the beginning, Diverge has lived up to their name. Defying what is considered "normal", yet continually evolving, this Northern Alabama based quartet has been tirelessly playing heavy music since the winter of 2002. It was then that the four core members of the band were solidified, with Joey on guitar, Andrew on drums, Jason on bass and Nick on vocals. It was from there that the evolution of Diverge began.

The combination of technicality, brutality and sheer aggression makes for pit-worthy anthems, that pay homage to the likes of Sepultura, Slayer and Testament, along with a heavy emphasis on the modern sounds of Hardcore and European style metal. Diverge comes equipped with a combination of force and skill, making for an interesting experience on stage and on tape.

Early 2007 will see the evolution of Diverge reach its pinacle, with their first official full length album.
