After the demise of Waiting The Storm, Steve and Scott began to contemplate which direction they wanted to take their next band. They knew it would end up being fast and melodic, as it always does, but they wanted to take things to the next level, something Waiting The Storm and most melodic hardcore bands canÆt pull offàbrutal breakdowns.
They quickly enlisted Antwan from WTS and added Kevin and Chris from the sporadically active Suffer The Fate. With the lineup solidified, the band began writing songs, which turned out to sound like No Use For A Name with Buried AliveÆs breakdownsàoddly enough.

Lyrically, the band wanted to move away from the positive outlook of Waiting The Storm. Truth be told, nobody in the band felt particularly positive about much of anything so it was kind of pointless to write positive lyrics. To describe the lyrics would be pointless, as they pretty much speak for themselves, however, negativity runs rampant and scrutinizing views of humanity occur quite often, so maybe that helps.

Basically, this band is hell bent on making this as close to a life-long effort as possible. Touring as often as possible, sacrificing livesà the blood, the tears, the bankruptcyà nothing stands in the way of this bandÆs goals. ThatÆs it.
