Yeah... it IS an ongoing comic series. Of course there's tons of books. They go in order. Start at 1. The trade paperbacks are relatively cheap but collect a smaller number of issues, they're listed as Volumes, in paperback. The hardcovers collect more issues and are awesome but more expensive, and are listed as Book 1, etc.

buy the compendium to start off with. sure it's pricey and huge, but it's the first 48 issues in one handy edition and if you're a borders rewards member, you can always use one of the coupons they email you.

good episode. im excited to see the next set of events.

one issue i have. in season one glen and rick covered themselves in zombie blood/guts to walk through the street undetected. this season they can simply hide under cars and not be detected. do zombies stop smelling after season one?

I saw the preview for the Talking Dead and knew that was not happening. Midnight on a Sunday is not happening.

It sucks that it's 9pm every week because that's the same time as Dexter. I'm sure the a good chunk of each show's fanbase makes up a good chunk of the other show's fanbase. Even though The Walking Dead is big, I wouldn't want to go up against Dexter.
