it's hard to explain without spoiling anything.

I already read about this spoiler, so I'm kind of interested in knowing how far along are the 2 episodes compared to the comic series?

The show's up to issue 3 or so. That shit's way off. At least season 2 or 3.

i understand and i dont want it spoiled. i just feel with the subject of this series, main characters dying and strange plot twists will be embraced more than criticized.

from what ive been told you dont even have to worry about the zombies killing people eventually. people are the problem, not zombies?

I think the depth of the characters and how much you like (or hate) them will make it even more of a great story as they die off. That's what separates this from most zombie stories where you don't give a shit when anyone dies.

I agree with you actually...at least as far as horror fans go. I'm just curious to see if they'll worry about alienating the more mainstream members of the audience (assuming they keep up the ratings they've been getting).

How people can say the episode is "meh" is beyond me. Tense escape, entrail jackets, michael rooker playing a scumbag, great sex scene, and just more small seeds for a much larger picture. judging episode by episode just leads me to believe there is a lack of understanding for the concept of a SERIES.

i definitely liked the second episode but it was not as good as the first, 40 minutes or whatever is too short.
no nudity != great sex scene

amc shows are more character driven. that's why i love them.

as much as i like this show, i still think breaking bad is their best show.

so you dont have any favorite episodes of the sopranos, dexter or anything like that? i thought they were both good and i understand that they are essential for the series but i liked the first episode better, im not saying the second was bad but having to pick i liked the first

Sure, there are stand out episodes of my favorite series', but if theres an episode that doesn't pop out as amazing to me, I don't make a fuss about it because I know it is mostly exposition and build up for something bigger.
