This is so fucking foul. I can only imagine how much of this abuse actually occurs in these institutions. Now I aint down with snitchin, but if you saw an old dude ass raping a child, that aint right and you gotta do something. You'd be better off just beating the fuckin living shit outta him and making him explain the provocation for the attack. I wouldn't say Joe Paterno is a scum bag. He followed procedure upon receiving the news, which was to report it to the AD (his boss) and then the AD should have handled it from there.

Of course, the question of moral code comes into play. Why didn't the witness call the cops? Why didn't Joe call the cops (could be argued that if the witness didn't think it was necessary, why would Joe)? Most importantly - why didn't the AD do anything with the news? Of course, that's why him and Schultz are being charged.

What's sad is Tim Curly is a pretty great guy. I was, personally, surprised that he didn't report any of this.

I know they didn't "do" anything, but what they did is almost as bad as it allowed dude to hurt more kids.

The first guy looks EXACTLY like my doctor and the 2nd looks like Jeffrey Jones who is a kid toucher.
