deloused in the comatorium is awesome. other than that, the mars volta is snoozeville. everything by sparta sucks.

The Mars Volta is sick. They have so much texture to their songs and have like "smooth breakdowns" and cool transitions. plus they have like a spanish or mexican influence which i never see in artists. plus their lyrics are clutch.

no hate toward at the drive in at all though, i grew up listening to them

I like a maybe 5 songs from Mars Volta, nothing by Sparta, and while At The Drive In was really good, they were way overhyped.

I got to see them once on their last tour at the TLA. Great show. Would like to see them again now that I appreciate them more.

went to this show, 1998. was awesome.

i have tons of fliers saved from back then. even more of them are on my bedroom walls. my room looks like a middleschool kid lives in it.

The Mars Volta are by far one of my top 5 favorite bands ever, but they've kinda got stale to me lately though. Sparta is garbage and At the drive in will always reign supreme. Never got to see ATDI but I've seen the mars volta many times in a variety of intimate venues and Omar & Cedric still are definately high energy. They should be dropping a new LP in early '12.

I just listen to in.casino.out when the mood strikes. The rest of it means nothing to me.

Deloused is the only great thing to come out, post-ATDI. I liked Frances The Mute for a while but really don't feel it so much lately
