Try the crossramp or elliptical on the cross training circuit and put resistance up to like 4 or 5 for a half hour. I sweat more doing that than running a mile in like 7 mins.

Apparnetly they have found that by stretching before a work out, you actually increase your risk of injury, and you should stretch afterwards instead. But as with all exercise related discussion, its chock full of contradictory information dependong on what day of hte week it is.

yep, you could ask 100 people and youd get 110 answers on what to do, which is what sucks. one of the guys i workout with has 2 masters degrees in athletic related shit and he was a strength and conditioning coach for the STL cardinals and number of college teams...dude stretches like a champ so i just follow suit and it works well

run on a treadmill with max incline until you're about to pass out, then turn around and walk backwards up it at about 2 MPH

My question is, is it better to have a high heart rate when lifting? Should I warm up with some cardio for like 5-10 minutes before I hit the weights?

Also, is it better to just do the weightlifting for now and not integrate a lot of cardio at first?

you sound like you're so far behind everything you do will help

worrying about a whole 5-10 minutes of cardio

why don't you just put your bong at the top of the stairs and snacks at the bottom and call that a workout too

I kind of have that set up already, I can only smoke pot in my bedroom right now and the kitchen is like a thousand feet away and down a flight of stairs.
