Fucking rule!

I bought a Sabian AA Metal X 18" china last night and honestly prefer my shitty, shitty, shitty Wuhan china (14"?). It has much more attack and is infinitely louder than the Sabian. Granted, it sounds like shit, but that's what you expect. It serves its purpose.

wuhan chinas are so trashy sounding b/c they are so shitty and low-quality. you can't even get that sound from a high end cymbal. it's great.

I use a 12" Wuhan with a beat-up, inverted 12" Zildjian A splash "piggybacked" inside it, sounds really good as an effect. But my 20" Z Custom china is my main china.

The Wuhan chinas are fucking nice. They break easy, but sound GREAT. I want to hear the rest of their cymbals. I'm not expecting much, but they could be a nice surprise.

I expected my china to break easily, but I've had it a while and it's still in good shape.

My drummer from DTO uses a Wuhan china in his metal band, and it sounds fucking pristine. Way better than most Zildjians/Sabian's I've heard.

The problem with Wuhan chinas is that not one of them is the same. They're all hand hammered and can have very different sounds. Although I like the sound of a good 16" Wuhan, most stores don't stock more then one or two of them, and I have to look through dozens to find one I like.

It's a great cymbal, but its not worth the trouble.

Any hand-hammered cymbal will sound different from the next.

Sounds to me like you're the problem, not the cymabls.
