stella is a "weaker" pilsner. and flying fish is good, but i'm asuming it will probably be an ale you will try from flying fish. it will be really bitter and "dry" to the finish so i would go with the stella artios. its expensive but good none the less. if you really want a good quality, fresh beer, go with sam adams summer ale. fruity, citrusy, and very smooth finish. just a hint of a bitter bite at the end. so good.

yeah sam adams i'm a big fan of, even though i found the cherry wheat pretty overhyped...didn't dig it at all and thought it tasted like a cough drop.

i guess i'm trying to open my tastes outside if the low-class beer I call high-class.

yeah the cherry wheat is like a desert beer. i think thats exactly what they call it. cant go wrong with that line of beer though. i'll tell you victory makes a good line up and dogfish head does to. they are all like in the thirty dollar price range. but also it all depends on preference and taste. me, i dont like bitter beers. i like the darker and smoother lagers. nice and crisp.
