when i was choosing, i played both, and this one resembled my sg more closely than the lp obviously, so i chose this one

I really like mine. I have the ec400 archtop. Plays and sounds really nice for the price.

Viper 400?

Mine lasted about 3 years, had it professionally set up twice as well as doing it a few times myself, and still plays like a pile of crap.

Now it's completely fucked and I'm playing my Fender Powerhouse with a Duncan hot rail bridge in its place. My Fender has a grounding problem and is still more quiet than the Viper.
