alright, so for 250 bucks there's a full stack by the brand name of Earth. there's no info on it whatsoever, I believe it's a 4x10. it seems pretty old. can anybody tell me anything about Earth amps and whether it's a decent brand? I've never heard of it and there's no specs on this cab, I might just gamble on it.

thanxxx nigs.

Earth is supposed to be a rip off of the old-school Peavey amps that look exactly the same. I've heard that they could have questionable build quality.

Never played one, though.

yeah, I looked it up a little and that's pretty much what I heard. they got sued by Peavey because their amps were exactly the same in every way... haha.

but I like Peavey amps, and this Earth nig is huge and cheap, so if I like the sound of it through a decent head when I bring my guitar in, maybe I'll just pick it up and if it doesnt last too long then it's not too much money wasted. plus it says EARTH on it.

It's just a cab.. right?

You can find a Marshall 1960A for $250-300 if you're patient. Peavey cabs go for $100-150 all the time.

I'm not too huge a fan either, but it's not so much of a crapshoot buying one of them.

1960 cabs are standard. Best cabs around, no way. But you certainly can't go wrong with one. and also.

if you think marshall 1960 cabinets are the best cabinets around, you need to start playing drums, right away.

for the sake of getting something awesome and making it even better, duh. i have a sunn cab from 1967 that i bought for 150 bucks and with the least bit of work can make it a 700 dollar cabinet. not only that, but it blows away any other 215 i've played.
