covers in general suck balls. as does eric paradox's hair and fake denim jacket

my denim jacket is a 1976 Phoenix denim and is an heirloom from my dad who wore it in the 70's and it's exactly my size. that's legit enough for me.

your skip to my lou my darlin circle pit tells me otherwise

god you're lame.

when I was playing the only covers I did were black flag's 'gimme gimme gimme' (really easy of course) some suicidal tendencies song that I dont remember right now and in my last band we always did the intro to 'hell awaits' in between songs just to get people going. I despise covers for the most part not really for any particular reason other than I dont really enjoy playing other peoples music.

tons of covers by my lonesome. everything from neil young to slayer to the dead to devo to blue oyster cult to the descendents and everything in between.

as for "in a band", me and 2 kids i used to be in a band with back in 11th grade have been jamming alot again recently and playing old originals as well as out on the tiles by zeppelin, the trooper by maiden, demon's eye by deep purple, the red and the black by blue oyster cult and dog breath and camarillo brillo by zappa. zappa is so much fun. if anyone knows the flo and eddie version of dog breath, thats the one we've been doing... the vocals are the most fun part even if we sound totally ridiculous. other than the zappa songs, its all shit we've covered before. also, an acoustic version of "better living thru chemistry" by QOTSA with bongos. song's got a really fun jam in it and it sounds awesome acoustic. we're getting pretty tight again but i doubt we're gonna do anything serious with it cause our drummer doesn't want to, plus he's leaving for college in canada next summer... i gotta get back into a legit band soon, i miss that shit.
