Rua is downright insane at times but holy shit does it usually payoff. I picked Rampage over him. Couldn't have been more wrong eh?

I think if they fought again it would be a little different. Rampage got hurt pretty early.

i agree. i still think shogun would win. he is a much more versatile fighter, and unlike wanderlei, he hasn't forgotten about his muay thai, which is quinton's kryptonite.

I think, ignoring my better judgement, I'm gonna pick Machida. He'll use his speed and kicks a lot more effectively and if he keeps it off the ground I think at the very least he'll get the decision.

Shogun has an unorthodoxed style himself and when he's on point he would give anyone in the LHW division fits both standing and on the ground. His leg locks are sick and his Muay Thai is awesome.

Personally i don't see either fighter being put away but because Machida backpeddles most of the fight Shogun will already have "octagon control" over him and i think he'll be the one to finally cause damage to Machida.

thats all i hope for with any fight. sure i have my favorite fighters but if they lose i'd rather them lose in a great bout than win in a snoozer.

Silva fights Forrest at UFC 101 in Philly on August 8th.

Rashad fights Rampage most likely in December. They are the coaches of the TUF season 10 and that season concludes airing in December.
