i'm suggesting to Brickhouse to make this the "Health, Fitness, and MMA Forum"

I'm getting a bunch of flack from the other posters in the Sports Forum for "flooding" the forum with MMA related topics. I figured since i already monitor this forum i could add and monitor the MMA discussions here.

Also calling it the Health, Fitness, and MMA forum it would allow for people to post about other sorts of competitions or special events pertaining to Health and Fitness. PaHulkster could post about power lifting and bodybuilding competitions. And others could post about their local 5K Charity Run this coming weekend. Stuff like that.

Also i'll keep 3 specific topics stickied. The Supplements sticky, the Vegetarian thread (since that falls under health anyway), and a "General MMA discussion" thread which can handle alot of, well, general topics in the MMA community and would alleviate some of the congestion in the forum.

what do my regular Health forum posters have to say?

furthermore.... the posts you make are not about training in mma or mma related physical fitness they are related to UFC 500,000 or whatever. that is a sporting event not a fitness advice.

don't start wiping your ass wherever and leaving the toilet paper behind. put it in the toilet where it belongs.

i see and understand your point. Figured it would alleviate the complaining about me posting about sporting events in the sports forum.

i agree. just trying to help the cause.

i still wouldn't be opposed to bodybuilding and powerlifting competitions being posted in here considering those sports are completely attributed to fitness. Same thing with the charity runs or bike rides (ie the MS150 stuff).

amateur stuff is fine, like if you posted hey come and check out my karate tourney but ufc and the likes would be considered professional sports on par with the nfl or nba.

i dont understand why anyone in the sports forum would complain. we're keeping that forum alive on most days, and probably make up most of the posts. in another month when football really kicks in, im sure there will be alot more variety in there. dudes need to man up and start watching fights.

yeah fuck it. keep MMA in the sports forum.

amateur shit that includes preparations for any sport can stay in here. Atleast most of the preparations are health and fitness related.

still think bodybuilding and powerlifting should stay in here though.
