to be honest they were really a one hit wonder for me (album wise) I really liked Celebration of Guilt when it came out and I never was really into anything since.

The two songs I heard did nothing for me.

A Diamond For Disease was the last great thing they did.

And Jim looks horrible these days.

the only time I saw them live was with Necrophagist at the the church back in 06 and god damn did they shred. unfortunately the tunes since then haven't lived up to their first album.

United In Regret had some really awesome songs on it but it seems like they started believing their own hype, also with Jim's well documented issues, they lost their steam really fast.

The only Arsis I like from start to finish is Celebration. A diamond for disease had it's moments, but United in Regret was garbage.

Why does it suck? I think it's a pretty good album, it's no ADFD, but it's good. Kind of reminds me of Skeletonwitch (so I might be biased since I love Skeletonwitch).

Was listening to it the other night and it didn't make me wanna throw the thing out all together. Think i gonna need to give another listen without ton of background noise going on.....

I don't understand how it's poppier...be grateful Arsis isn't selling out by adding in clean vocals or something.
