I made a mistake. It was Poison the Well not Dillinger. This was a total waist. "A Brooklyn duo with a curious background: songwriter and producer Derek Miller was in the hardcore outfit Poison the Well and singer Alexis Krauss is an elementary school teacher by day. Their song "A/B Machines", found on a recent CD-R called Magic Metal, is a heavy, overdriven dance number with siren-like guitars, ridiculously distorted drums, and chanting singsong vocals. It's abrasive but weirdly catchy."
