Just finished Meat Is For Pussies. I wasn't sure how this book was going to go but it's basically a ground level, in your face approach to giving you information about how the meat industry is destroying the planet and veganism is a much better way of life for you, the planet, and the animals. Through a mixture of personal experience (as JJ says, "let me be your lab rat") and cited studies, he presents a lot of what you already know but in a way that relates to the average person. John Joseph is aggressive enough in his presentation that he will definitely turn off any closed-minded meat eaters but he basically tells you that in the opening chapter. At the end he gives a great 30 day workout, some of which I'll be implementing into my wakeup routine, and some fantastic vegan recipes that he uses and was given to him from some of his chef friends.
