Stupid why people underestimate the Germans in Soccer. Really. They are ALWAYS solid in the world cup or Euro. They were underdogs in their own house in 2006 and they placed 3rd. I can see them doing the same here and being huge favorites for the next Euro Championship.
I'd rather be anywhere than the US when it comes to World Cup matches. Sure as a whole the country is starting to get more and more into it but its not on the level it is in other countries. I'd like to see what you Brits can do if they were to win.
Hopefully the US gets World Cup in 2018. If by chance an act of God were to happen and the US won at home, I'd probably tip a bus over. Just for shits and giggles.
i thought the end of the uruguay ghana game was the highlight of the tournament. the last kick of the game being a penalty that hit the bar after blatant cheating had me jumping up and down and screaming. incredible.
So much can change in 4 years. Sure some of the powerhouses are still going to be quality teams but new players and coaches as well as retiring players and coaches will play a big part in who does well and who doesn't. It happens every time.
France is going to be all sorts of fucked up. They gave their entire team the boot after the whole not practicing thing. So in 4 years we're going to see an entire team of new players.
