Francis The Mute was a pretty bad ass album, if you cut out all the self indulgent 10 minute song intros.

Nothing will be as good as the original though.

I guess I like mars volta better but both bands are kinda eh. I'd still rather just listen to at the drive in.

i dusted off in.casino.out today and never really gave either of the other bands a close enough listen. so i downloaded a bunch of stuff and aside from one song off frances the mute and some of wiretap scars i didn't really like any of it. at the drive-in should get back together.

i like the first two mars volta records, after that, it got old fast.

at the drive in rules. i saw them play live 6 times.. to this day, probably still the best live band i've ever seen. so much energy, it was unreal.

at the drive in is meh for me. Wiretap Scars is a great album by Sparta.
