The Axe is back

Traditional heavy metal/thrash band Golden Axe is currently auditioning guitarists and drummers!
We are a Heavy Metal band reforming after the split of our guitarist and drummer due to personal differences. We currently consist of singer/songwriter Joshua MacCready-(ex Thunderfist) and original bassist Thor “Brook” Duer. We are looking for those who are musically proficient, dedicated, career oriented, and responsible musicians with true Heavy Metal in their hearts, minds and piss! We have interest and fans in Europe with distributors asking for our Printed demo in Ireland, Greece, and Germany.

Some influences are; IRON MAIDEN, JUDAS PRIEST, DIO, BLACK SABBATH, Angel witch, Ozzy, METALLICA, Slayer, ICED EARTH, Blind Guardian, Samson, Motorhead, Venom, Celtic Frost, ANTHRAX, TYR, Armored Saint, Exodus, Testament, Overkill, 3 INCHES OF BLOOD, Amon Amarth, and traditional Celtic and Scandinavian folk melodies.

We are hoping that the guitar situation is covered,(I fucking hope) but we def need a drummer.......

We definitely have two new amazing guitarists, just need to find a drummer now that can keep up, BTW Ensiferum somehow got left out of our influences......

BUMP!!!!!! auditioning a great drummer, will prob end up with him but still auditioning, might also need a second guitarist again, not sure yet........

Currently, we have a drummer, bassist, singer and lead guitarist, we need a second guitarist, and possibly a violin and bagpiper......maybe a tinwhistle, though,.... I am learning

I would join, but all of the songs would actually have to be about the game Golden Axe.

That game is straight up power metal. I could easily write an album or two about Golden Axe without even getting into the rest of the series.
