does anyone think a team with an established qb will go after any of these guys?

I think the Pats (Brady), Colts (Manning), Jags (Gerrard), Seahawks (Hasselback), Titans (Collins), and Bengals (Palmer) could all be looking to start grooming a future replacement.

I can't really comment on which one will be best. I haven't really seen all of them play a lot and I'd also have to analyze their offensive styles, mechanics, teams, division, etc..

But I do think both Mallet and Ponder will have success, probably more than Newton.

Mallet wont be shit, dude sucks and hasn't grown up yet

Well thats assuming he ends up in the right system with the right coaching staff, just like any player.

I thought Ponder would be late 2nd, or even a 3rd. Though I'm not surprised he went in the first, I think he has the mechanics, skill, and knowledge to be successful. I've liked this dude since he's been a started at FSU and I dont even like the Seminoles.

Teams need to stop believing that scrambling quarterbacks are the way of the future. Not one of them has survived without having to learn how to stand in the pocket and be a real quarterback anyhow.

Don't sleep on Greg McElroy. That dude is pretty sharp, has some witts about his game and already proven he can win. As for everyone else, eghh Mallett probably has the best shot. The least effective, Cam Newton. That fella is way too sensitive to play as a professional.
