i think unless GSP just grinds the shit out of diaz and controls top position and stays tight for five rounds by GnP i think nick takes this.
However I can easily see that (GSP winning by just that) happening.

I don't like GSP but I hope he destroys Diaz.

im becoming more of a GSP fan every day with all the people suddenly hating him for not finishing fights

p.s. I'm not hating on GSP. I like him and I wouldnt mind if he won. . .even by decision. I just think Diaz has the tools to beat him and is probably the only one in the weight class capable of it at this point.

I think Diaz is going to give him the toughest fight. The problem lies in the fact that wrestlers always give Diaz problems and GSP probably has the best wrestling for MMA in the WW division, maybe all of MMA.

I believe that most of GSP's opponents were defeated before stepping into the cage. Diaz definitely isn't going to give a shit and will probably open the fight taunting GSP and talking shit. He'll definitely go after him. I'll even say he lights GSP up on the feet but GSP will quickly take it down after going on the losing end of striking and play his top game the way he's perfected. Diaz will threaten but I don't think he'll get the finish. I see it being a 5 rounder that GSP really has to work for to win.

Diaz has a shot but I don't think it will happen. GSP is just too strong, athletic, and his "play it safe" gameplan is going to be too much for anyone in his division. He'll get a real challenge out of Diaz but I don't think he's losing the belt unless he puts himself in a situation where he doesn't take a fight seriously like the first time he did with Serra.

Penn/Condit is going to be a great fight. I see Condit winning decisively though. BJ only really handles people who try to take him down. His greatest asset is takedown defense. Carlos isn't going to try to take him down. Carlos has more to offer in the stand-up realm. I see him picking BJ apart.

BJ's never been really picked apart standing though. His boxing, most noteably his jab and ability to get in and get out, has always served him very well in standing. Frankie Edgar has been the sole exception because he was alot faster than BJ, who is already fast himself. I think the standup is alot more even than you are giving BJ credit for. While I'm a huge fan of BJ, Condit is definitely a scary fight because he's so well rounded. I think his key to victory is to keep BJ guessing and outwork him.

How many notable stand-up fighters has BJ faced in recent memory? Condit is the best striker BJ has faced since Duane Ludwig back in 04. Arguably 12 out of his last 13 opponents have been predominately grapplers (and Florian is the only one that's arguable). I don't think Condit will be able to put him away, because of BJ's movement like you said, but I do think he will dominate the stand-up. BJ's never really been known for takedowns either. Even if it does get to the ground, Condit is no slouch there either.

It's definitely not an easy fight but I think BJ gets the win here.
