Hi everyone. For those of you who care about this sort of thing, Plow United will be playing a reunion show on September 24th, at Riot Fest East in Philly.

We will be supporting some remarkable bands: the Descendents, X and the Dead Milkmen. Many others are playing as well. The flier is here: http://riotfest.org/east/

We were last on a stage together in 1998 and have been in general agreement since that we wouldn't play a reunion show. It seemed like a weird idea for all of us to get together and jump around playing songs we wrote -for the most part - when we were teenagers. We'd get offers occasionally and always turn them down or blow them off. Last week when we got the offer to play Riot Fest East, however, we changed our tune.

Everyone (well maybe not everyone) has a price, and last week we learned what our price was: fun. The thought of playing outdoors, on the waterfront, on what will hopefully be a beautiful autumn day, with an assortment of bands that is almost too insane to even contemplate (Freaking NAKED RAYGUN?!) sounded like way too much fun to turn down. And so we didn't.

A Descendents cake with a Plow United icing on it. Goodnight Sellout will forever be one of my favorite albums. I hope tickets don't sellout too fast. I just dropped a bunch of money on my car.
