I'm in the market for something no greater in price than $200 (plan on doing some more ebay'ing) - anyone have suggestions? I don't know how many of you guys are into this kind of stuff, but I figured it was worth a shot. This is like porn to me

Save your money. $200 won't get you anything good unless you get lucky and find something on eBay no one has bid on.

Roland SH-101. $600-850 classic synth great sound.

Also, check out ( super collider )

"real-time audio synthesis and algorithmic composition. It is an efficient and expressive dynamic programming language which makes it an interesting framework for acoustic research, algorithmic music and interactive programming"

I have some friends with droid cell phones that have this program on their phones. They code and make cool noise,

Just saying...I don't code but I think this is a neat program worth checking out if your into noise.
I got nothing.

mini sleep drone and a looper pedal would be a good introductory setup but still a bit more than $200.00 I have a Dr. Haunt Box i've been trying to seel for a while, its a single oscillator with pitch and LFO speed control and a spring reverb with exposed coils you can hit and fuck with as well. PM me if your interested I would let it go for $200.00

It's not that difficult, you can make a simple one for probably 20 bucks.
