I'm a girl.
I have ADHD, and I'm a bit of a serial hobbyist. That being said, my current hobby-du-jour would be Metal. I'm discovering there is a lot more out there to be heard than when I was wearing out my Metallica/Metallica cd 20ish years ago. I'm also contemplating creating a vlog of my first live heavy metal experience (aboard the 70000 tons of metal cruise in two weeks).
Nice to meetcha,
If you want to know what I'll be getting into this year/what I've gotten into in the past, here's a nice long list for you. I have no expectations that anyone really wants to read it, though, so no pressure)
I'm excited to finally start seeing some shows again!
I have tickets to:
Eric Johnson and Andy McKee
70000 Tons of Metal Cruise
Paganfest 2012 (USA)
My wishlist for 2012 so far:
Flight of the Valkyries 2012 (festival for femme fronted metal bands)
Last band I saw live was TMBG in September 2011.
Prior to that, in no particular order:
Jonathan Coulton x3
Paul and Storm x2
Video Game Orchestra x2
Emerson Lake and Palmer
The Moody Blues
Blood Sweat and Tears
Reel Big Fish x2
The Lilith Faire (199?)
The Warped Tour
Mighty Mighty Bosstones
Jimmy Eat World
Either Big Bad Voodoo Daddy or the Voodoo Glow Skulls, can't remember
and I probably forgot a couple.
I almost saw Ben Folds (had tickets, pussed out because it was raining and I didn't want to drive in Philly by myself), Cake (wasn't familiar with the venue, procrastinated on ticket purchases), and Korpiklaani (heard about the show too late to adjust my work schedule, but I tried!)
