As a Wisconsinite I prefer bratwurst to hot dogs. Sauerkraut, onions, and mustard on it for me.

Burgers I prefer medium rare with sauteed mushrooms and onions, Swiss cheese, and mustard or Sriracha.

For my burger I prefer a medium rare 10oz beef patty on a pretzel bun with roasted garlic mayo, tortilla strips, house made hot sauce, fresh garlic, pepper jack, and sliced jalapenos

Or why not combine the two and put a Chicago style hot dog with all the ingredients on top of my medium rare 10oz beef patty on a pretzel bun?

im going to try and make a burger with hot dog chunks in it and see what its like. or maybe a mega burger wrapped around an entire hot dog

i think this year is going to be the year of 100% handmade burgers with all kinds of stuff in them. i do it here and there but usually opt for pre-made patties. the time has come.

if you have never had the pleasure of eating a bison burger i highly recommend that you get on your horse with your tomahawk and try one.

I had an outstanding venison burger recently with some kind of cranberry reduction thing on it. It was expensive.

Bison burgers are good.

I'd hate to pull the stereotypical Chicago thing and say putting ketchup on a hot dog is gross, but it is. Ketchup on almost anything just saps all the flavor from what you're eating and turns it into bland tomato sugar goo. I reserve ketchup for french fries when there's nothing else around. And burgers from fast food places.
