Good episode. Did well to reestablish everyone.

Soooo... the Unsullied. Yup...

Tormund and Mance both seem like hardasses. I like them already.

Also, fucking giants.

I was reading an article out loud with someone at work a week ago and in it they said "that scene" is epically brutal. I haven't read the book yet so I had no idea what they were referring too but was definitely looking forward to find out. Well the guy at my work thought I had already read the book and blurted it out. So I know a pretty big spoiler that's going to happen near the end of the season and even though I won't be surprised when it happens, I'm definitely looking forward to seeing how "brutal" it is going to be.

For those of you that have read it, I'm sure you know what I'm referring too. No spoilers.

Let's keep the shows down to 1 thread each.

1 for every season is dumb. Plus its easy to go back and see who said what.

Here's a friendly "spoiler" that non-book readers will enjoy.

The scene in which Cersei says to Tyrion "I heard you lost your nose, but it isn't as gruesome as all that" is funny because in the book, he does lose his nose in that battle. Way worse than just the cool scar he has in the show.

Yeah I figured the producers/writers put that line in as a shout out to people who read the books.

I heard that in the books the scar itself was more gruesome looking too.

Well in the books Tyrion is supposed to be pretty gross looking before that battle even happens. If I'm not mistaken he's hideous and walks with a crook in his step and is generally misshapen. Then in the battle he gets his nose cut off and loses like half his facial skin, something like that.

Only in the show is he a handsome dwarf who suffers a cool scar in the battle.
