I was watching it on a huge LED tv, with whatever display setting makes every show look like it's live. It was like watching it really happen lol

haha the frame rate was real time for sports? tinelli is a voyeur lmao

It was my friend's tv. I actually really hate the way it looks like that (except for sports, obviously).

same here, and surprisingly enough, my dad (who is also a video/film guy) prefers the high frame rate look to the 24 frames you usually get when you control the settings the right way. drives me nuts when theres a film on television or a show like this where that kind of movement is crucial. Otherwise it looks like a BBC public access live show.

they retained 85% of the audience from last week's premiere which is almost unheard of for most shows.

4.7 million is nothing scoff at.

Awesome news for cast, crew, etc. This show is going to turn into a hit I think. It's sort of funny too considering how many people were concerned taking the story from the comic book to the cable plot and how that would turn out.

this show wouldn't have worked for any network televsion company. i think that it was either made for fx, amc or even a premium channel.

i want to know how those numbers get calculated. are the ratings they get based only on whos watching at air time? does it take into account how many people dvr it, or watch it on demand or any other factors?

i have absolutely no idea whatsoever. i'd love to read how they get those numbers and how they determine the demographics behind them.
