Florida college student caught trying to bite the face off a victim after stabbing him and his wife

Before Austin Harrouff randomly stabbed to death a Martin County couple in their garage and started biting the man’s face, the college sophomore spoke to his mother of his super powers and how he was immortal, a Jupiter police report revealed Wednesday.

The Florida State student and fraternity member told her “he was here to protect people.” And his friends also noticed Harrouff’s delusional behavior, Jupiter police stated in the report.

16 bodies found decaying in back room of funeral home in the Panhandle

When authorities arrived at Brock’s Home Town Funeral Home in Callaway, Fla., on Sunday afternoon, they opened the door only to be greeted by the overpowering odor of death.

And when they ventured inside, they encountered a scene even worse than the stench.

“Investigators counted six bodies being kept in the main part of the funeral home with no refrigeration at all,” the Bay County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release. Ten more were decomposing inside a “cooler” that was actually a balmy 62 degrees.

“None of the bodies had been embalmed. Those remains whose families requested cremation had not been cremated,” the sheriff’s office said.

“Flies were throughout the building.”

Florida teacher accused of drowning raccoons with students

OCALA, Fla. -- An investigation is underway after a teacher at a Florida high school was accused of drowning wild animals in a garbage can while students watched and assisted, CBS Orlando affiliate WKMG reports. A Florida mother said her son was made to stand with his fellow high school classmates this week and drown two raccoons and an opossum.

Pictures and video taken by the student show a raccoon in a metal trap, which the teacher and students lifted into a garbage bin while it filled up with hose water, WKMG reported. One video shows the tip of a raccoon's snout sticking out just above the surface of the water.

"When the raccoons tried to come up for air they had metal rods and they held them down with metal rods and when the raccoon would try to pop its head up they held water hoses in its face to drown it," said the mother, who said her son came home from school in tears after the incident, the station reported.
