Are they all the fucking same?

Whats the point of throwing out a hundred dollars or more? I just got monster cables, for a steal of a price but alot of people say it's all the same. What do you people think?

there is no point at all. buy the cheapest available cable, and maybe buy a few extra in case some shit goes wrong anyways.

I had one that I was given by the tv company, but then I got a Monster brand one, and I personally can see a difference, but at the same time, I wonder if I would have noticed if I didn't know.

Was it the same program you noticed the difference.

We compared the monster cables with the ones we give out for fios and there was no difference.

aside from brand name alone, i think the difference has less to do with performance and more to do with durability/construction. I've had cheap hdmi cables shit the bed on me in under 6 months, but the 2 monsters I have I have never had to replace.

Yeah, it was on xbox. I mean like I said, I could have imagined it just because I knew I had put a better cable on it, but who knows.
