In keeping the tech and metal blade theme going, I'm now moving on to one of my other favorite releases so far this year. Though, this release is nowhere near as technical as the previously reviewed Psyopus release.
All is not lost redefines the word heavy. This album is the latest production from Hellfest frontman Keith in hell (I don't think that's his legal name), following up the noisy metalcore Found Dead Hanging and the barely assembled Ghost of the Saltwater Machine, and in my opinion he has made leaps and bounds of progression in the past five years.
This is not a particularly original or diverse album, but it is extremely fucking heavy, extremely fucking loud and noisy as all hell breaking loose. With better lyrics, vocals and song writing than FDH, this album takes Keith's version of noisy metalcore to an entirely new level.
If you're in the mood for a chaotic but not too technical CD with lots of crusty sludge, check these guys out. They'll probably be up your alley.

I want my 100 dollars
dare I say it's the angriest thing I've heard since Dragbody's "flip the killswitch".
(nice to see it got a good review. . .I'm the only person on here that actually LIKED Found Dead Hanging)
The best thing about Keith is how well he conveys his anger/frustration through his vocal style. He sounds really fucking furious without sounding whiny or bitchy, hence the high vocal rating.
