Now this is what I'm talking about. Dirty, grungy, aggressive hardcore with grind and crust/sludge influence but not so chaotic that you don't know what's going on. This shit will be in my CD player for a long goddamned time. This was a good brain enema after havign to review that crappy "Aiden" CD. They have not only speed, power, and aggresion, but their high skill level is obvious, and their lyrics are meaningfull, unlike the slop I've been hearing lately.

And on a side note, it seems like a lot of these bands have the best cover art. Must be a genre thing. Who would have thought the midwest (Denver) would produce a band like this?

All these kids that are calling all these whack bands "hardcore" should listen to bands like this and madball (although two different styles)... then they might trully know what hardcore is all about. You're way off kids.

I love this band, definitely underrated and Preamble To Oblivion was the shit. I'll have to pick this up.

The label website's got an mp3 from the album, "Illustions Of Hunger"... love it. Still sounds like grind to me though.

This surprised me.

Hadn't heard anything about or from this band before this album.

It was definetly a pleasant surprise though.

Yeah these guys are awesome...and the denver area has a long history with grindcore, cephalic carnage is from there among others and it's where relapse records started out.
