ok, i'll be honest, when people first read my opinion of this album, i trashed it. but i will admit it, i was listening to it as background music at 5am falling asleep. i never listened to it again until recently this week.

let me say this first off: if you're looking for the pure intensity of the EP, you'll find a little less of that here. it's there, there's no doubing that, but just harder to find...this band goes all over the musical scapes with this album. you have some pretty hard and catchy songs, like the title track, and the two re-recorded tracks from the first EP (which in my opinion, were better left untouched). some of the songs are super hard and most of the songs have some pretty awesome lyrics. but there were times when i was listening to this album that cringed because i didn't think i would hear it on a ramallah album... there are some hints of nu-metalish riffs on this album. they're pretty obvious, but then the rest of the song makes up for it. hell they even cover beatles songs on this release. also expect to hear some "experimental" riffs/songs/tracks like you did with the first EP, as well as some things you wouldn't normally expect to be in a ramallah song (like pianos... but trust me, it sounds good).

so, i eat my words, this is a good release. it's actually been in constant rotation in my cd played/playlist the past week since i gave it a second listen. to me, this is a super original hardcore release. sure you got your breakdowns here and there, but they throw in so much shit you wouldn't think of, and they actually pull it off pretty well.

get this album. give it a listen. there's something for everyone on here i'm pretty sure.

the actual recording of this release is pretty damn good. it sounds good, i just think it could do without some of the nu-metalish guitar tones at some points. other than that, the production/recording is solid.

Much respect to White Trash Rob & Ramallah. I like much better the EP, although I like this as well
