Two songs is all I have to judge this band on. Typically I prefer more to give a full judgment on a band, but as these songs weren't easy to get through I think I'm fine. The 2 song promo clocks in at an almost 13 minute release. Those are 13 minutes that easily feel twice as long.
It opens up with the track Lifetrap. I was immediately reminded of the early 00's when COUNTLESS bands were ripping off the Gothenburg melodic death metal sound. The riff just kept going and then vocals kicked in and it didn't get any better. It certainly found a way to get worse though, the clean vocals popped up while the dude can sing in key, it didn't sound good to these ears.
It's hard to write a lot about only two songs. The main thing that kept popping in my head was I felt I was listening to songs from the early 00s. It sounds dated and not in a good way. They're not terrible, but they're just doing what many, many, many bands have done before them and did so many years ago. I tried to check out their Facebook page to see if they had no songs up and had progressed at all, but they did one of my biggest band pet peeves and that's make people "like" their stupid page just to hear their music. Not really good promotion if you're unknown and trying to be heard.
