When recieving this EP I had heard the name Cause For Concern berfore. I didn't know why then nor do I know why now but it had a tinge of familiarity. The music was also very familiar but that was because they have a sound that is an amalgam of numerous other bands I've listened to. Although you can hear the influences in the music they play it doesn't completely take away from the songs. We'll start with the positive with this band. First and foremost I enjoyed this ep. All the songs are fairly catchy and the production is good making the songs sound good. The songs are upbeat and midpaced so I don't get bored. I enjoy the vocals as they fot the music quite well. These are make this album listenable as well as enjoyable.

The negative are pretty petty gripes honestly but nonetheless I will share them. The vocals vary too much for my tastes. One song he sounds like Tim Armstrong the next the guy from Samiam. It takes away the unity of the ep especially since it was so short. It doesn't ruin it as I said I like the vocals but it does make it feel like you are listening to different bands. My biggest gripe is the last song though. The vocals are don't fit very well. How the song sounds it should have someone who can harmonize with the music. It also is fairly repetitive with nothing actually being said.

Overall I did enjoy it and would reccomend it to anybody that likes punk rock. Its not perfect but it is a fun punk rock romp worth giving a listen.
