Darkane - Layers Of Lies

This band is a pretty sweet mix of different metals... atmospheric at times, but for the most part thrash as hell. The guitarists obviously have plenty of skills due to the rediculous speeds they are playing as well as the fact that the riffs are pretty innovative and they like to throw in that little extra melodic lick here and there to keep things interesting.

I listened to this from start to finish while playing Madden earlier and I kept saying "wow" oyut loud every once in a while. That's how I judge CDs, and this passed the Madden test. Besides, I wow 34-10 over the Patriots on all-madden mode, so the victory made this CD sound that much sweeter.

Anyways, this is not your run of the mill thrash band, so you should check them out. I am enjoying it immensely.
