Review:
this is, IMO, the best hardcore release of 2005. yeah i know, the year isn't over yet. suck my dick.
this release proves my point that this is, without a doubt, one of the best bands in hardcore right now. from beginning to end, this album mixes perfectly the old school feel with the new-school attitude. the lyrics can connect with almost anyone, making it easy to relate to. the music is so catchy. the two-steps are original and memorable. and when strength for a reason writes something hard, it's not some corny-ass bullshit generic breakdown. they have their own flair where they can pull this ridiculously hard part from their asses, put it in a place you wouldn't expect it, and make it sound better than most the shit you've heard before.
every song on this album is brand-spanking new, except for re-recording their old hit (and probably the one they are best known for) face to face. not one single song on this cd has one single boring part. every track is a good, quality example of real hardcore music and stands out in their own individual way. the production is tight and the sound is a lot more solid than their last release (show and prove).
seriously, sometimes i listen to this band's releases and wonder to myself how they aren't bigger than they already are. there's something for everyone in there, and they are a hard-working band with the "we won't quit" attitude.
go out there and get this cd right now. do yourself a favor too... if you haven't seen this band live, do it, because maybe you're one of those people that can get a better feel for a band by seeing them live... you won't be disappointed. i expect nothing but good things in the future from this band, and right now, i don't see how any other album of 2005 is going to top this one. not by a long shot.
