Solo musician, songwriter, and frontman Evan Thomas Weiss has announced three sets of upcoming US tours for his full time celebrated project Into It. Over It. kicking off following this year's SXSW marathon. The first set of dates begin immediately following the festivities in Austin (where Weiss will also be performing a series of shows) and joins friends Look Mexico and Mansions. The second kicks off in early May and accompanies Fake Problems, Laura Stevenson & the Cans, and Pomegranates, and the final tour will begin in late May and include I Can Make A Mess Like Nobody's Business and again meets up with friends Mansions.
In the last year alone, Weiss recorded and released the critically acclaimed IIOI/KOJI split LP with friend and fellow songwriter Koji (recently spotlighted by the Associated Press), the debut EP for new "supergroup" Stay Ahead of The Weather, as well as split releases (included in his Twelve Town Series) with the likes of Bob Nanna of Braid / Hey Mercedes, Empire! Empire!, Castevet and others, and will be releasing the final installment this year with friends Such Gold (full details coming soon).
