SKELETONWITCH give us another glimpse at what's to come on their latest endeavor, Devouring Radiant Light. Today they've shared "Temple of the Sun" via REVOLVER.

SKELETONWITCH have reformulated their sound with dizzyingly triumphant results. Since their inception over a decade ago, they've been known for blending and bending metal subgenres. The members' collective love of Judas Priest, classic-era Metallica and Immortal has always been worn on their sleeves and remains evident. However, it's the band's blacker leanings that have shifted to the forefront and altered the tenor of the through line on this latest offering. Where SKELETONWITCH previously ran its output through a Second Wave Black Metal filter, Devouring incorporates a strong atmospheric influence. Bergtatt-era Ulver and Cascadian black metal lineage are palpable. But the expansion of influence does not stop there.

Devouring Radiant Light was recorded by Converge guitarist and engineering deity Kurt Ballou (High on Fire, Kvelertak, Chelsea Wolfe) at GodCity Studio in Salem, MA. It sees its release July 20th on Prosthetic Records.

SKELETONWITCH are midway through an extensive European tour in support of Devouring Radiant Light. They hit the road again late this summer and have announced an appearance at Hopscotch Festival plus additional dates around their run with System of a Down and At The Drive-In.
