i just learned about this a week ago, and it's helped me with foosball and air hockey ever since.

all you need are coffee stir sticks. if you know of tim hortons, use their's. if you don't, here are pictures.

so know you know what to get.

the next thing you need is a machine where you put the money in the slots and slide the metal thing in. commonly found in pool tables, foosball tables, laundry machines, they're everywhere.

now, if there are 2 slots, use 2 stir sticks. any more slots and it gets hard.

i'll use 2 for my example.

look at the coin slots, you can see right through them from a top view. take a stir stick and place it at a 45 degree angle inside the slot. so slide it in and just past where the hole ends. put the second one in too.

now push hard, the metal sliding thing should move forward a bit. if this doesn't happen, you haven't got the right spot. it it did, hold the sticks halfway down the shaft and push as hard as you can, and at the same time, push in the metal sliding thing.

it will go all the way in if you did it right. the sticks may get caught. don't pull on them hard, jsut jiggle the metal thing in and out and they will eventually pop out.

it works in any of them. if you have 3-4 slots though, it will get really tricky trying to hold them all and push.

then use it on foosball or something

i learned this because my friend has to pay about 6 bucks to fully dry his clothes where he lives (with about 4 other students). his roommate came in and told us how to fuck with it because the year before, he had gotten sick of paying so much as well.
