When someone is on the computer, what are things you hate that other people do?

- when people double click links on the internet
- when people don't maximize their screens
- when people scroll down with the scroll bar instead of the wheel on the mouse

Anyone else have any other stupid things like these?

seriously, I can't understand why any remotely intelligent person would not use a scroll wheel when they have one. a scroll bar needs be used only to get to a specific portion that would take an otherwise long time to get there with a scroll wheel.

and people that still type with just one or two fingers... I've never taken a typing course in my life and I can do about 50-60 words per minute; my brother has aced 2 typing classes and still hunts and pecks. it pisses me off that you can pass classes while still sucking at things quite noticeably.

I sent my dad a fake virus over Messenger and he freaked out and pulled the plug out of the wall so it couldn't download all the way. he then came back online and freaked out asking what to do

yeah... and they won't listen to you when you tell them that there IS an option to have big icons even with a bigger screen.

my resolution is set at 1280x1024 so just the average 1024x768 is slightly bothersome to me, 800x600 makes me feel like my eyes are retarded.

my parents still have it at 800x600 and when i cahnge it they freak out because they "can't read anything" because it's so small. they don't know how to change it back. then again, we've only have computers in this house for a decade, so they're still learning.

I've had a computer since I was 6. my dad was a software developer at IBM for 31 damn years but I still have to help him with computer problems. im convinced his knowledge is so based in advanced programming and concepts that he can't look at the simplest computer issue without looking at it like a geometry equation.. he always talks about computers like he's talking out of a software manual, and has to go about everything through help menus and systematic reasoning.

people just don't realize how ridiculously easy computers can be for all of their technology and complexity.
