before the haters come on board and cry "sell-out" because they are touring with Tool (another truly unbelievable band), "in the absence of truth" is awesome...takes a bunch of listens to let it seep in, but when it does, its beautiful...the band have definitely continued to separate themselves from many other bands that try to sound like them

I'm a faggot and will not listen to any of it other than that song that was posted a few weeks ago until Halloween. I can't wait.

First off, who could say a band is a sellout because they're opening for tool, i recall, meshuggah, tomahawk, fanotmas, and the melvins opening for tool on different tours throughout he years. Isis is the perfect band to open for tool, andi can't wait to hear the new shit, because in my opinon Isis doesn't know how to put out bad records

the album is incredible, I already enjoy it more than Panopticon and it's all I've listened to for the last three days.

you know just as well as i that people will hate...maybe not just on the basis of opening for tool, but for becoming more popular

as long as it's good, popularity won't really make a difference, take Mastodon for example.

only been able to listen to this twice but so far i think it's amazing. my initial reaction is that i like it more than anything else they've done but i need to get through a few more times to really get a feel for it.

Not many people on here really give a shit about that if a band is good.

Anyway, this album is amazing and I've been listening to it non-stop.
